Info

The Art League of New Britain, a non-profit organization, is the second oldest art league in the United States. It was founded in 1928 and its original mission was as an art school holding both day and evening sessions. In 1934 it transitioned into art club where artists could work and gather for social affairs. For more than 75 years the Art League has been holding shows, hosting events, encouraging emerging artists, and fostering interest in artistic expression in central Connecticut.

Why dont you keep your web site up to date? And why dont you have more publicity for your shows?

Right now our 2019 Annual CT Women Artists' Annual Members' Show is open at the Art League in New Britain's beautiful galleries. This is our 4th year being hosted by Paul Baylock, ALNB President and their wonderful volunteer/members.

They are so accomodating and helpful. Please come and see our diverse and exciting art exhibit when they are open on weekends from 1-4 pm.

Our show ends with a Closing Reception on Friday, May 3 from 6-8 pm. Feel free to join us!

They also are a very busy and active art league. Check out their website for more events and classes.
