Wagon rides! Gourmet meal! Fine wines! Entertainment! Experience a memorable evening dining under the stars at Rose's Berry Farm in the beautiful rolling hills of South Glastonbury. Sip a unique selection of fine wines and indulge in a bounty of local foods prepared by award-winning 2hopewell bistro. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with wagon rides around the 100 acre farm, a sparkling wine reception and a birds-of-prey demonstration. Afterwards enjoy a delicious 5-course dinner made with the freshest ingredients from local sources. Each gourmet course will be paired with an appropriate wine. Dave Palla’s Light Jazz Trio will accompany the event.
Tickets are on sale now for $135 per person all-inclusive; plus a free 1-year membership or a membership renewal to Connecticut Audubon Society. In past years, ticket buyers have been able to declare over $100 as a tax deductible gift. Tables for six people may be reserved. Seating is limited. Monies raised from this celebration of Connecticut-grown foods will help support the CT Audubon Center’s mission, to conserve Connecticut’s environment through science-based education that focuses on the state’s bird populations and their habitat, by enabling us to continue to offer a dynamic mix of nature programs, classes and events where people of all ages learn about environmental awareness, conservation and respect for our natural world.
