Shake off that cabin fever with three days of winter fun at our annual Ice Festival!

Bundle up and celebrate the great outdoors in New England, then warm up in one of our many cozy indoor spaces. There will be special programs, including winter games and crafts, film screenings of the British 2014 movie Mr. Turner, and winter working dogs - Saint Bernards and Newfoundlands (Saturday and Sunday) - and the following entertainments for children and adults:

Ice sculpture demos (Sunday and Monday)
Sock-skating rink for kids
Piano in Turner exhibit (Sunday and Monday)
A fire pit, with s'mores kits for sale
Horse and carriage rides (Monday)
Paint-n-sip
Pemmican demo
Toy boats open all weekend

The ice breaker vessel Bollard will be here too, weather-permitting!

Join us at the Treworgy Planetarium for a special performance of Résonances Boréales. This live piano performance by Canadian musician Roman Zavada is set to a stunning 360-degree video of the Northern Lights projected onto the dome of our Planetarium Theater. Daytime performances of Résonances Boréales are 30 minutes long and will occur at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on February 15, 16, and 17. Tickets for the daytime shows are $3 for members and $5 for non-members and can be purchased at the Planetarium starting at 10 a.m. on the day of the performance.

There will also be 60-minute shows at 7 p.m. on the evenings of February 14, February 15, and February 16. Tickets for these after-hours events are $8 for members and $10 for non-members (click on the dates for more information and to buy tickets for the evening shows).

Take the opportunity to see the Museum's unique, world-class exhibition J.M.W. Turner: Watercolors from Tate before it closes on February 23. Participate in other Turner-related activities that will be on offer while you are visiting the Ice Festival.
