Museum Hours: Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Ireland's Great Hunger Museum is a museum of the Irish Great Hunger of 1845-1852 located in Hamden, Connecticut. Opened in 2012, the museum is part of Quinnipiac University. Exhibits focus on paintings and sculpture related to the Great Hunger.
