In colonial American times, stately eastern white pines were among the most valuable trees on the planet. They were an imposing presence in the primeval forests of eastern North America. This new documentary film tells the story of our native white pine, and the significant part it played in America's founding and history, using archival images, stunning photography, and aerial views. Co-sponsored with the Simsbury Land Trust and Keep the Woods.
