Can theater help us discuss America's history of racism?
We're partnering with the Connecticut Historical Society in a forum free and open to the public.
It just so happens that during our run of The Scottsboro Boys, the Connecticut Historical Society will be hosting the exhibit, Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow. This special one night only panel discussion features local community leaders who will weigh in on how the production helps us to explore the themes of racism and resistance explored in the exhibition.
Join us as we continue a discussion that began years ago, and still needs to be addressed in present day.
