The Woodstock Music and Art Fair that was held on August 15-18, 1969, in Bethel, New York, featured such classic rock artists as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, Santana, and The Who, and became a watershed moment in the counterculture movement of the '60s. The 1970 documentary film based on the festival, Woodstock, received an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Come get in the spirit of things with this special edition of the instructor's series of rock 'n' roll courses. The entire film will be viewed across three sessions, with expert analysis and class discussion to complement each session. Instructor is Stephen Armstrong.
