Come join us on a behind-the-scenes tour to discover the art of distilling fine brandy. Westford Hill Distillers is now the producer of some of the finest brandies and spirits in the United States. The awards have been both national and international, and Westford Hill Distillers was selected by the Smithsonian to represent the crafts spirits movement in the History of Food series several years ago.
The tour will be lead by owners Louis and Margaret Chatey as they tell the stories of the property and share the secrets of the European style brandies that they lovingly create. The tour is followed by a tasting of their artisan cocktails and a casual lunch on the historic 100-year Chatey family-owned farm.
For those who choose not to do a cocktail tasting and would prefer water or soda, CFT will make it available.
21 and over, please.
Registration is required.
Be sure to arrive 10 minutes early for parking.
A few more ways to support the farms you visit with CFT and get more from your experience:
- Help put the farmer on the digital map! Post pictures, check-in and use the farm's hashtag as well as CFT's hashtag, #ctfarmlandpreservation. Let the world know about our amazing farmers, what they produce and why you love them!
- Wear shoes suitable for the farm and pack an umbrella or rain jacket. The Tour is like farm work, RAIN or SHINE!
- Make sure to bring cash and a cooler for taking home fresh farm goods. Brandy, am I right?
