This year marks Arts from the Heart's 18th year of making Music Together with families in Tolland County and beyond. What better way to celebrate this exciting milestone than with a special family concert! A Love Song to Music Together will be held at 154 Orchard Street in Ellington on Saturday, February 23rd at 4pm. This concert is open to all.
The event will be led by singer/violinist and Music Together teacher Sarah Asmar, along with the talented team of Arts from the Heart's co-directors (Jane Roets and Rebecca Chaimovitch), and their staff, with accompanist Jonathan Reuning-Scherer. The concert will present Music Together favorites that also exist outside of the family song books, allowing the audience to experience these songs in a whole new way. This family-fun musical event will have you smiling, humming, and dancing in the aisles.
Over the last 18 years, AFTH Music Together has brought music into the lives of many families and continues to thrive today. Roets, Chaimovitch, and their team continue to expand their community of family music-makers while maintaining their heart and commitment to the mission to make the world a better place -- by making it more musical and by sharing Music Together with as many families as possible.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. Visit artsfromtheheart.net or like them on Facebook for more information.
