Info

Join us as local historian William Hosley offers a slideshow and lecture on Elizabeth Colt, the wife of legendary arms inventor Samuel Colt.

Mrs. Colt became one of Victorian Hartford's most influential civice leaders. Her legacy as a patron of the arts, builder, charitable entrepreneur, and philanthropist live on today in the church, park, museum wing, and public sculpture that bear the Colt name.
