Ginny Apple is a member of the Barkhamsted Conservation and Economic Development Commissions, serves on the boards of the Farmington River Watershed Association (FRWA) and Friends of American Legion and Peoples State Forests (FALPS). She volunteers regularly with the Barkhamsted Historical Commission. She created the FALPS website and maintains its Facebook page as well as the FB pages of the Historical Society and the Town of Barkhamsted.
