Docents are needed in early March to facilitate self-guided
activities for students in the Fairfield Museum's exhibition Creating Community: Exploring 375 Years of
Our Past. These training sessions provide all of the tools that you need to
lead this fun and engaging activity for 3rd grade students.
Docent training is both intellectually
stimulating and socially rewarding and includes readings and discussions on
various topics in American history and history education. Docents also
volunteer assistance at programs, attend lectures presented by scholars, and
participate in teacher workshops.
Whether you've lived here for many years or you are new to the area, discover the rewards of sharing the rich history of our town and region to students, families and adults!
