“Vodka and olive juice,” says bartender Bethany Gibbons of Molto, when asked the secret to a perfect dirty martini. (Not coincidentally, Gibbons took home a Best Bartender honor this year, too.) “There’s no need to add anything more.” If olive juice isn’t your thing, there are other options of course. “I make a pretty mean espresso martini,” says Gibbons. There’s something about the martini that will always secure its spot as the king of classic mixed drinks. It’s tasty, elegant and packs a punch. Molto’s bar is an ideal place to sip on one and slowly sink into a blissful vodka- or gin-induced oblivion.
