At Chicago Sam's, they take the time-honored basics of any sports bar -- TVs, food and beer -- and basically turbo-charge the whole deal. Take TVs: theyre closing in on triple digits. There are 85 flat-screens in the establishment, says Robert Caravello, regional manager. “You cannot miss a TV,” he says. “There are TVs in the bathrooms. We used to get complaints that we didnt have one in the ladies room. So we got one in there.” Good thing, too. With every possible game you can imagine -- including tennis, rugby and cricket, in addition to all the football, soccer, baseball and basketball -- sometimes you need multiple screens to keep track of the action. With recent renovations including new bathrooms, new furniture, new floors and a new menu (which includes a sweet 16-ounce prime rib dinner for $9.95 on Mondays and Tuesdays) the place is jammed most nights. But you can still find a semi-private booth with your own remote control. “If youre coming, we'll find a seat for you,” says Caravello.
